REQUEST A TEXAS FLAG

Residents of Senate District 5 can purchase a Texas flag that has been flown over the State Capitol in Austin through Senator Ogden's office. 

If you live outside District 5, you should contact the office of the senator who represents you. Please click http://www.fyi.legis.state.tx.us/ to find out who represents you.

Each flag comes with a certificate attesting to the date the flag was flown over the Capitol that specifies the recipient, the presenter, and the occasion on which the flag was presented.  Also included is a history of the Lone Star Flag and how it is to be displayed and used.  This is a meaningful way to commemorate a wedding, anniversary, birthday, graduation, Eagle Scout Court of Honor, Girl Scout Gold Award, or other significant event.
